Promotes the spirit and intent of Guest Services Hospitality Standards. Must be familiar with all housekeeper and laundry duties. Trains all department personnel. Schedules staff to ensure sufficient coverage to meet needs of the operation and completes time cards. Orders all paper, laundry, and cleaning supplies for the department. Directs opening of the department each day providing work assignments as needed. Interfaces with the front desk staff to efficiently house guests with minimal amount of waiting. Conducts room inspections on a regular time schedule. Attends management staff meetings and Safety training sessions as directed. Accurately completes all assigned reports on time. Performs all duties in the housekeeping department during staff shortages or peak periods of season. Responsible for maintaining adequate daily inventory of supplies and communicating needs to the General Manager. Maintains log of Lost and Found items in accordance with established procedures. Handle personnel problems and conflicts, referring to the General Manager issues unresolved. Inspect staff each day and enforce GSI appearance and uniform standards. Gives working direction of hotel room pre-season set-up under the guidance of General Manager. Gives working direction and participates in hotel room post-season closure. Performs such other related duties as directed or required. |
